About our Teachers


Katelyn Maggi began her dance studies at the age of four starting with Classical Ballet and Tap. At the age of nine, she started dancing at Pacific School of Ballet where she expanded her training to include Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Pointe work. In addition to dance, she attended the California Conservatory of the Arts as a Musical Theatre major. Through CCA (California Conservatory of the Arts) she had the privilege of work-shopping a new musical, How the Nurse Feels, Off-Broadway. She has worked and performed with countless Broadway performers such as Tony nominated Jonelle Allen, Andrew Lippa (composer of The Wild Party and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), Elizabeth Parkinson (Movin’ Out), Lindsey Mendez (Jan in the revival of Grease), Stephanie J. Block (Pirate Queen, Wicked, and The Boy from Oz) and Karin Baker (42nd Street and George M!). She also had the privilege of being a part of the performing group The Original Kids Next Door and serving as its Dance Captain for two years. Her summer intensive training includes The American Theatre Dance Workshop and Contact International. Katelyn attends San Diego Christian College where she is a Music Major with a Musical Theatre emphasis.
