About our Teachers

Mary Pu comes to us with the belief that creativity is a gift from God and that dance can be used as a tool for discipleship and as a form of worship. Her heart to serve God is contagious and is presented respectfully within the structure of her classes. Her passion for dance and her stylized approach in the area of Hip Hop have proven to be an exciting addition to our Spotlight family.
Her dance training began at the age of 9, and includes Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Ethnic Dance (Chinese), and, Flamenco. She has trained with the UCSD dance program and with various San Diego hip hop dance crews. Come have with fun exploring Hip Hop with this amazing stylist.
