About our Teachers

Rebecca Seiley is a recipient of a bachelor’s degree in dance from the University California Irvine, (UCI) Rebecca Seiley has 20+ years teaching experience in all levels of ballet from tiny tots to advanced adults including technique, Pointe, variations, and pas de deux. She has taught for the Dance Conservatory, La Mesa Village Arts, Orem Ballet School, and was the Artistic Director for the San Diego Civic Youth Ballet for eight years.
She is also experienced with teaching and choreographing for musical theater dance. She has choreographed and directed many student recital dances as well as full length productions including: The Snow Queen, The Nutcracker, Little Mermaid, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, The Night Before Christmas.
She has choreographed musical theater pieces such as Cats, Chorus Line, Sweet Charity, West Side Story, and High School Musical.. Her professional dance experience includes:
American Festival Ballet (dir. Paul Russell) as a Principal Dancer, San Diego Ballet (dir. Robin Morgan) as a Soloist,
California Ballet (dir. Maxine Mahon) in the Corps de ballet, and
San Diego Ballet (dir. John Hart) in the Corps de ballet.
With Starlight Music Theater she was seen in Annie Get Your Gun and the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. At Music Theater North she was in the ensemble of Chicago, played Christine in Chorus Line, and Zaneeta in the Music Man. At the Salt Lake Repertory Theater she played Anne in La Cage aux Follies
Other interesting experiences for Rebecca were: Dance Corps for the 1984 LA Olympic Ceremonies and a Parade Dancer at Disneyland.
